Thank you for these beautiful photographs of Wasa Queen, Jens.

At the time of my voyage in Finland in August 2000, this ferry was already to replace by Superseacat Four on the Helsinki - Tallinn line.

I am just wondering, the ship´s name was Wasa Queen, named after the city in Finland where this ship been on route once. Every Finn and Swedish knew that I suppose. But, same name in China ? There is a translation of this name in Chinese letters under the not-changed name and I wonder, what does it mean for Chinese, words like "Wasa Queen" ? Anything, or does it sound as strange for them as if we had a ferry on service here with whatever strange sounding Chinese names ?

I wonder too, Cornelia. Doesn,t Wasa Queen means
anything to them. By the way, the officers on board
are scandinavian. I saw her on TV, sunday evening.
