Hey Guys.
Not meaning to be a mother hen, but would people mind PM'ing their email addresses to each other?
Please remember that we are a free to all forum, so the whole of the internet community can access what is displayed on our boards.
Just for your own protection and safety really
Dan.

Yes,

I wholeheartedly agree with Dan's sentiments and his forethought. You never know who is reading the forum and you are leaving yourselves open to spamming and other horrible things such as hackers & viruses.

Let's be careful!!

No risk, no fun therefore to say !
But it would be nice to have sometimes a bit of a less- stiff conversation about the ferry topic than on these forum with some of the members who are interested in such.
Therefore, if any are interested, can of course send me an IM, too.

OK, I think I can put mine here, too.

On MSN it´s Scandinavian73@hotmail.com,

on Yahoo I am under Coriander73

By the way, I do not care for the few spams more I would get, my mailbox is full of them every day, and they go right to the virtual bin But I think it´s worth the risk, if there is a chance to have some good ferry-chat

All our "YIM's" are already on our profiles (if we have them) so anybody can access them anyway. Posting them here probably won't make a difference. :

It's not necessarily a case of hackers, posting an email address, even on a profile page, can cause it to be scanned by web bots who use it to spam you. Dan is right in saying that PM is safer, even if you have a junk mail filter.
