Default dog kennels

Does anyone have any information about the kennels on board the Pont Aven. i.e. location of kennels and exercise area or any other comments to assist planning of our next trip between Plymouth and Santander.

Hi.
As Karl was so amazingly helpful! (only kidding Karl), here is a bit of info :
Basically there are dog kennels and a dedicated outside / deck exercise area on Deck 10 of the Pont-Aven.
Apparently there is a special lift to get our Canine companions from presumably the card decks to Deck 10, but I could be wrong.
There is loads of info about the much anticipated Pont-Aven at www.pont-aven.info
Hope this has helped.

I've just heard that the Dog Kennels will not be available for use on the Plymouth / Roscoff route. Apparently they don't think it's worth it for a four and a half hour crossing. We wouldn't want them having to clear up dog poo for just £10 each way now . . . would we ? Not when they get £20 each way for a trip to Spain !

Not sure if that applies to all crossings or just day crossings ?

Actually, I would probably be prepared to pay £20 per dog each way if I had the option - after all it's only like Commodore Class for dogs, and I always enjoy travelling in style so why not my dogs ! (The dogs deserve it more than my kids !)

I suppose, at the end of the day, most cross channel crossings require you to keep your pet in the car, so why should PA be any different. Understandable why not for the Spain crossing though. Did/Does the Val take Pets to Spain at all?
